深圳市第三高级中学国际部第二届外语K歌**大赛在学校圆厅一楼隆重举行。本次大赛由国际部英语教研组主办，国际部学生参加，国际部管理团队（黄琼、谷建军、李定恒、侯体鸿、韩玥和陈文静）、英语老师和国际课程创始人等出席了本次活动。

The Second Foreign Language Karaoke King Contest of the International Department of Shenzhen No. 3 Senior High School was grandly held on the first floor of the school's round hall. This contest was organized by the English Teaching and Research Group of the International Department, with students from the International Department participating. The International Department's management team (Huang Qiong, Gu Jianjun, Li Dingheng, Hou Tihong, Han Yue, and Chen Wenjing), English teachers, and founders of the international curriculum attended the event.

Singing is a symbol of beauty and a call of the soul. Karaoke is an excellent form of art; it allows us to express emotions, cultivate sentiments, and promote communication. Through karaoke, we can showcase our talents, experience the charm of music, and enhance friendships with each other.

本次比赛的曲目涵盖了流行、摇滚、民谣等多种风格，参赛选手们都经过了精心准备，水平可圈可点。大赛在热烈的气氛中拉开帷幕。同学们以饱满的热情、积极的态度投入比赛，充分展示自己的才华，尽情享受K歌的乐趣。比赛精彩纷呈，17组选手参赛，奉献给大家一场视听盛宴。

The repertoire of the competition covered a variety of styles such as pop, rock, ballad, etc. The contestants were well-prepared and their level was remarkable. The competition was opened in a warm atmosphere. Students put into the competition with full enthusiasm and positive attitude, fully displaying their talents and enjoying the fun of K-singing. The competition was brilliant, 17 groups of players participated, dedicating to everyone a feast of audio and visual.

大赛中，高一年级谷建军主任和高二年级李定恒主任分别演唱了一首英文歌曲，展现了他们的歌喉和才艺。中间还穿插了舞蹈表演和击鼓传花的游戏，让现场气氛更加热烈。

During the competition, Director Gu Jianjun from the first grade and Director Li Dingheng from the second grade each performed an English song, showcasing their singing talents and skills. Additionally, the event was interspersed with dance performances and a game of 'Pass the Drum', further enlivening the atmosphere at the venue.

In the final comment section, Director Huang Qiong of the International Department summarized the competition (speech attached afterwards). He stated that the students performed exceptionally well, displaying impressive language skills and stage presence. He encouraged the students to continue working hard and make even greater progress in language learning and artistic practice.

Good evening, colleagues, and students!

Tonight, we have enjoyed a very enjoyable KTV competition together. Each contestant shared a story through song, from the lively beats of "Lemontree" to the emotional depth of "Speechless." Focuses of the night included the festive cheer brought by "Santa Tell Us”, and the warmth of "All I Want for Christmas Is You," filling the room with the spirit of the holidays. In the competition, all the students performed well, showing their excellent singing skills and love of music.

I would like to express my special thanks to all the teachers for their hard work. You have put in a lot of time and effort in the preparation and organization of the competition, ensuring the smooth running of the competition. 

I would also like to thank all the students for their active participation. You have brought us joy and touched us with your singing. 

Through this competition, we have seen the talented side of the students. You are not only excellent in your studies, but you also perform well in music, dance, and other arts.
